Sea Urns were designed and developed in 2018 in my studio here on the Pembrokeshire coast as a development of Sea Globes.
Made from earthenware clay, with hand thrown lids and sculpted fronds with a resemblance to sea anemones each piece has a unique style of glazing.
This piece has been finished with a soft speckled off white glaze with graduating turquoise blue tones. The piece has been finished with platinum detailing on the rim and fronds.
The piece is initialled on the base.
