Created as part of the “Under The Sea” collection of work that examines the consequences of rising sea levels and how my work might physically be transformed if left on the ocean bed for many year. This hand thrown sculpted lamp with handcrafted embellishments of crustacea, costal flora and angular rock formations is finished in a beautiful black gloss glaze with cascading tones of copper, iron and aventurine.
Completed in October 2021, as part of a body of work titled “Under the Sea” which examines global warming and the effect on eroding coastlines and rising sea levels. this piece is initialled inside.
