Sculptural / Functional
This beautiful Sea Globe with a flowing movement around the circumference of the globe has been finished with a base glaze of mottled grey with sweeping lines of cobalt blue, turquoise, aventurine and platinum. During the final firing platinum detailing has also been added to the rim.
Fine bone china Sea Globes are handmade in my studio here on the Pembrokeshire coast. Their design stems from the Pembrokeshire coast where I live and work, capturing the essence of the dramatic landscape and ever changing scenery we experience here throughout the year.
