Created as part of the “Under The Sea” collection of work that examines the consequences of rising sea levels and how my work might physically be transformed if left on the ocean bed for many years. This hand thrown sculpted urn with handcrafted embellishments of crustacea, costal flora and rope weaves is finished in fascinating tones of blues and grey with underlying oxide reactions.
Completed in October 2020, as part of a body of work titled “Under the Sea” it has a full signature on the base in addition to Richard’s trademark initials.
