This beautiful fine bone china Sea Globe has been finished with a beautiful deep oriental turquoise glaze with feathered tones of cobalt and aventurine moving across the globe in addition to oxide that evokes a slate marking. During the final firing gold detailing has been added to the rim.
Fine bone china Sea Globes are handmade in my studio here on the Pembrokeshire coast. Their design stems from the Pembrokeshire coast where I live and work, capturing the essence of the dramatic landscape and ever changing scenery we experience here throughout the year.
