This globe has a beautiful combination of blue and aventurine glazes fused together during a high firing; adding oxides has resulted in explosions of random bright blue bursts. The piece has been finished with platinum detailing on the rim.
Fine bone china Sea Globes are handmade in my studio here on the Pembrokeshire coast. Their design stems from the Pembrokeshire coast where I live and work, capturing the essence of the dramatic landscape and ever changing scenery we experience here throughout the year.
