Singing Fishermen

These individual hand sculpted figurines depicting jovial Pembrokeshire fishermen singing for their catch are handmade in my studio.

I love making these happy chaps, they are a great distraction from the serious ceramic making that goes on most of the time. Each one is different, each tells its own story of the love and hard-ship of a fishermen at sea. And I reckon looking at their rosie cheeks pretty much each one of these Singing Fishermen have had a kiss or two from a Pembrokeshire mermaid - or perhaps a tot of rum or two!.

The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea. They provide, on call, a 24-hour lifeboat search and rescue service around the UK and Ireland, and a seasonal lifeguard service. With lifeboats, lifeguards, safety advice and flood rescue, they are committed to saving lives.

£5 from the sale of each Singing Fishermen goes directly to the RNLI. Every person who buys a Fisherman also gets to name them.

Singing Fishermen are for sale in my gallery in Saundersfoot.

The total raised for the RNLI to date is

£165.00
